Bubune Beauty Returns & Refunds Policy

At Bubune Beauty, we celebrate natural beauty and want you to feel confident with every jar, bottle, and scoop. If a lotion, cream, body oil, beard oil, or raw shea butter doesn't suit your skin, scent preference, or needs, we're here to make it right.


Return Window

  • You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
  • The clock starts on the date your order arrives (or is collected).


Eligible Items & Condition

  • Products must be returned in saleable condition — either unopened or gently/trial used.
  • "Gently used" or "trial use" means:
    • Only a small amount has been used (e.g., a few pumps/applications or a fingertip scoop of shea butter/cream).
    • The product is at least 75–80% full by volume/weight.
    • No unusual contamination, foreign objects, or excessive use.
  • All original packaging, labels, seals (if applicable), and any included scoops/spatulas must be returned.
  • We happily accept returns for reasons like: doesn't suit your skin type, scent preference, texture not as expected, mild reaction (non-medical), change of mind, or any other reason.


Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned once opened (unless proven faulty/defective):

  • Any product that appears heavily used or mostly empty.
  • Items returned without original packaging or with signs of tampering beyond normal trial.
  • Products clearly marked as final sale / promotional / sample size.
  • Custom-blended or personalized orders (if offered).

Because your range consists of lotions, creams, body/beard oils, and raw shea butter (no high-risk items like opened mascaras or lip products), most opened items qualify for return if they meet the gentle-use standard above.


Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Contaminated Items

  • If a product arrives damaged, leaking, contaminated, mismatched (wrong item/scent), or has a manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos.
  • We offer full refund, replacement, or store credit — and we cover return shipping in these cases.
  • This includes rare issues like unusual odor, separation, or spoilage in natural/raw products (e.g., shea butter).


Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the item (usually 3–7 business days after arrival), we process a refund to your original payment method.
  • Full refund on product price; original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • If you used a promo/discount code, refund is based on the paid amount.
  • Gift orders: Refunds typically as store credit (original buyer can request otherwise with proof).


Return Shipping

  • You cover standard return shipping unless it's our mistake (wrong/damaged item).
  • We offer prepaid labels in many areas — cost shown during return request.


Additional Notes

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that don't meet our condition guidelines or show patterns of frequent returns.
  • Natural products like raw shea butter and oils can vary slightly in texture/scent due to their pure nature — this is normal and not considered a defect.
  • All returned items are either resold (if suitable), responsibly recycled, or donated where appropriate.
